Mr. Keith G. Butler has been the Chief Risk Officer and Senior Vice President of Global Risk Management & Insurance at Duke Energy Corporation since February 11, 2016. Mr. Butler served as a Vice President of Corporate Tax of Duke Energy Corporation since June 1, 2005 and served as its President of Duke Energy Enterprises Corporation. Mr. Butler served as a Senior Vice President and Controller of Duke Energy Corp. from August 2001 to June 1, 2005 and also served as its Principal Accounting Officer. Mr. Butler served as the Principal Accounting Officer, Controller and Chief Financial Officer of Spectra Energy Capital, LLC (formerly, Duke Capital LLC). Mr. Butler served as a Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Duke Energy Global and its affiliated companies in February 1998, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Duke Energy North America in July 1998, and Chief Operating Officer of DukeSolutions since September 1999. He holds an Undergraduate Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
