Mr. David A. Golden has been Chief Legal & Sustainability Officer of Eastman Chemical Co. since March 8, 2016. Mr. Golden has been Senior Vice President and Corporate Secretary of Eastman Chemical Co. since January 1, 2013 and served as its Chief Legal Officer since January 1, 2013 until March 8, 2016. Mr. Golden served as Vice President and Associate General Counsel of Eastman Chemical Co. until January 1, 2013, was responsible for Eastman's Law Department, which has personnel in the United States, Europe and Asia. He also had overall responsibility for Eastman's Ethics and Corporate Compliance program. Mr. Golden joined Eastman in 1995 as an Attorney and has held positions of increasing responsibility. Prior to Eastman, he was an attorney in the Atlanta office of the law firm of Hunton & Williams. He has been Director of Solutia Inc since July 02, 2012. He is a member of the American Corporate Counsel Association, the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals and the Ethics and Compliance Officers Association. Golden holds a B.S. degree in accounting from Brigham Young University and a J.D. degree, also from Brigham Young University. He completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2012.
