As an operator in the manufacturing division at Eastman, morale is extremely low. Conditions are unsafe for the workers, sewage backing up in the restrooms, unclean air in the control rooms, mold on the walls. Equipment operators are forced by management to work unsafely. Devalue this stock, now.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
Do not ask personal illegal discriminatory questions during the interview process.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Management is uneducated, not trained properly and fails to follow safety policies. Anyone in Management should be investigated for wrongdoing. The entire company is misrepresenting numbers, twisting and perverting profits. Record sales is distorted when withholding bonuses and raises.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Teamwork despite management trying to create a pit of snakes. Our work force is strong. I hate to see my co-workers get injured and be told by management not to report work related injuries because it will affect their bonus. That is unacceptable behavior.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
If you are truly EEO and care about your employees, take the time to listen to their needs. Promote management that is trained and competent in Management. Do not push "yes" men into management and sacrifice employee mental health and safety over the good ol' boy mentality.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Just come out of the dark. This company is a toxic place to work that does not care about factory workers. Unfairly promoting diversity and inclusion yet this is not practiced. This company is so obsessed with appearance it neglects to do the right thing, treat employees like humans.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
This company is going down hill fast. This company probably had a chance but I think that turnover and lack of experience inside the operations will lead to disaster. This place is a time-bomb. Dangerous and nobody in management cares to keep experienced operators who work safely teach safety.
