Mr. Christopher N. Clemmensen, also known as Chris, has been Senior Vice President of Marketing at Echo Global Logistics, Inc. since August 2015. Mr. Clemmensen serves as President of WL Benefits Group, Inc. from May 2013 to April 2015. He oversaw the implementation and ongoing delivery of products to WestLake's client base, in addition to the overall operations of WestLake Financial Group, Inc. He has a proven track record of success as a marketing executive. From 1999 to 2001, he served as Vice President of Marketing at YesMail. He has 25 years of experience at both emerging and Fortune 500 companies. He served as Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President of Brickfish, a leading digital and social media technology company. He served as Vice President of Hospital Marketing at Press Ganey Associates, Inc. since May 2010 and is responsible for driving growth and strategy for Press Ganey's hospital service products. Before joining Press Ganey, Mr. Clemmensen held senior marketing positions with other health care organizations, including Thomson Reuters, Solucient and Caremark. As Senior Vice President of Marketing at Thomson Reuters, he successfully integrated marketing activities across five companies and led a 50-person global marketing team. He also led the post-acquisition integration of the $13.5 billion combination of Thomson Corporation and Reuters Inc. as the Chief Marketing Person for the healthcare division. He served as Vice President of Marketing at Solucient LLC. Mr. Clemmensen has more than 25 years of marketing experience in brand building, lead generation, advertising, and new product development. Previously, he served as Director of Corporate Marketing for Caremark Rx Inc., Northbrook, Ill. Prior to this, he served as Vice President of Marketing at Participate Systems and YesMail.com in Chicago. He also worked in senior marketing roles at Motorola Inc., Schaumburg, Ill, S.C. Johnson and Son Inc., Racine, Wis and Kraft Foods Inc., Glenview, Ill. In addition, Mr. Clemmensen has lectured at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism and DePaul University. He serves on the corporate board at Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago. He serves on the corporate board for the American Heart Association and chaired the Chicago Heart Ball. Mr. Clemmensen holds an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia and a BS degree in Business and Marketing from the University of Illinois.
