Executive Bio
Mr. Kranti K. Kilaru served as Executive Vice President of Business Systems and Operations at EchoStar Corporation since July 2013. Mr. Kilaru serves Executive Vice President of IT & Security at EchoStar Corporation. Mr. Kilaru is responsible for EchoStar's state-of-the-art digital broadcast centers, systems engineering group and global information technology infrastructure and operations. Prior to his current role, Mr. Kilaru served as Senior Vice President of EchoStar's systems engineering group from April 2005 through June 2013. Mr. Kilaru joined EchoStar in 1989 as an electrical engineer and has directly contributed to the development of many EchoStar products and technologies over the years. Beginning in 1993, Mr. Kilaru served two years in EchoStar's international division and was a key participant in the launch of the DISH Network service in 1996. Mr. Kilaru holds a master's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
