Robert Scheuermann — President of Socore Energy at Edison International

Mr. Robert Scheuermann, also known as Rob, has been the President of SoCore Energy at Edison International since January 27, 2016. Mr. Scheuermann served as Chief Financial Officer of SoCore Energy from September 2012 to January 2016. As President, he is responsible for overseeing all sales and operations of SoCore's business and as Chief Financial Officer, he has overall responsibility for financial matters. He is a Member of the executive management team with key input on the formulation and execution of the company's strategic initiatives, financing strategy, investment decisions, commercial contract documentation, governance, accounting functions and risk tolerance. He has over fifteen years of power industry and renewable energy experience to the team. Prior to joining SoCore, he spent four years at Wind Capital Group as Senior Vice President of Finance, where he managed all banking relationships and led the execution of over $1 billion of financing commitments, including construction loans, term loans and tax equity. He served as a Director of ABN AMRO Bank's Structured Funding & Investments Group. He led the renewable energy tax equity initiative, investing approximately $600 million in thirteen national wind projects between 2006 and 2008. In addition with ABN AMRO Bank, he spent eight years in the Power & Utilities group focused on project finance and M&A advisory. He received an MBA with high honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in Business from Indiana University. He is a CFA Charterholder and an Illinois registered CPA.
