Ian Jones ā Head of Global Strategic Solutions at eGain Corporation
Executive Bio
Mr. Ian Jones serves as Head of Global Strategic Solutions at eGain Corporation and also leads its Product Management team. Mr. Jones assists customers to identify opportunities for the use of eGain's technology within their environment and to develop vertical solutions to disseminate best practices. He has worked with many contact center and self-service operations at large global companies, advising and supporting their implementations. He is involved in developing customer service solutions for organizations in the Telco sector in Europe, North America, and Asia. His background is in consultancy, advising, and implementing decision-support systems using a variety of technologies, including case-based reasoning, constraint programming, and rule-based systems. Prior to eGain, he worked at Inference Europe, Bull Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence Ltd., and A.E.R.E Harwell. He holds a B.Sc. Honours degree in Physics from Imperial College, an MSc in Computing Science, and an MBA.
