The people are nice and smart just the upper management are not meant to be in those positions.

If they kept their promises. If the higher ups are not toxic.

What would you improve about your company's interview process?
They literally did an IQ test, which is a terrible way of hiring anyone. Just because they have high IQ does not mean they will do well at the position that they are hired for.
Nothing as such they are considering a problem solving skill

Treat the workers better and the company will do better. It is as simple as that.
