They are old mind set, if you are sick you are required to use PTO since there is no sick paid days. Got sick randomly and they want me to waste PTO hours. Starting pay is terrible and does not meet the minimum needed to live or survive in the bay area.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
If they kept their promises. If the higher ups are not toxic.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Treat the workers better and the company will do better. It is as simple as that.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The people are nice and smart just the upper management are not meant to be in those positions.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
They literally did an IQ test, which is a terrible way of hiring anyone. Just because they have high IQ does not mean they will do well at the position that they are hired for.
