Executive Bio

Mr. Ghilad Dziesietnik has been Chief Technology Officer of Electronics For Imaging (EFI), Inc., since 2005. Mr. Dziesietnik joined Electronics For Imaging in 1995. He served as the architect of EFI's technology strategy and his visionary leadership has enabled EFI to expand beyond its Fiery heritage to become an innovator across printing technologies, from digital color print servers to print business automation software to inkjet. He has more than thirty years of invaluable experience in the technology sector. Prior to his role as Chief Technology Officer, he was EFI Senior Vice President and General Manager of EFI's VUTEk business and Senior Vice President/General Manager of EFI's APPS (Advanced Professional Print Software) business. He was EFI's Vice President, Professional Print Workflow and Technology and was its Vice President, Core Technologies, prior to which he was EFI's Senior Director of Core Technology and Director of PDL and Imaging Technology. He serves as a Director of Jettable Ltd. Since 2000, he was chairman of PODi, a non-profit strategic initiative focused on evangelizing digital printing technology and services and leading the evolution of digital printing infrastructure by promoting interoperability through standards. Coming to EFI, he leveraged his prior experience as Senior Director of Software Engineering at QMS, Senior Research Engineer at Xerox/Impact, Software Manager for Paradigm Geophysics and Senior Software Engineer at Scitex Corporation. For his major contributions to the graphic arts industry's technical and scientific development, particularly for his many patents and technological advances in the digital printing and variable data-printing arena, He was awarded the prestigious 2005 Robert F. Reed Technology Medal by the Printing Industries of America/Graphic Arts Technical Foundation (PIA/GATF). He has an E.E. and M.S.C. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tel-Aviv, Israel.
