Dr. Limin Hu, Ph.D., has been Chief Technology Officer Emeritus of Ellie Mae, Inc. since February 7, 2017. Dr. Hu co-founded Ellie Mae, Inc., in August 1997 and served as its Chief Technology Officer since August 1997 until February 7, 2017 and its Executive Vice President since November 2011 until February 7, 2017. Dr. Hu was responsible for Ellie Mae's Technology, Product Development and Information Systems. He served as Executive Vice President of Technology & Operations at Ellie Mae, Inc. He served as a Secretary of Ellie Mae, Inc. He started his career with IBM's T. J. Watson and Almaden Research Centers. At IBM, he developed advanced technologies in networking, systems architecture, multimedia software and database management. From December 1994 to January 1996 he served as a Vice President and General Manager of Teknekron Systems LLC. He served as the President of Hugo Technologies, Inc. since February 1996. Dr. Hu received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University, ROC and his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
