What do you like best about the leadership team?
Embark has an approachable and down-to-earth leadership team that strikes a good balance between giving direction and letting teams drive autonomously.
Executive team is down to earth and really listens to what we have to say.
Care a lot about their people.
The leadership team is incredibly transparent and great at driving toward consensus. They value everyone on the team, and make the company feel like a family where everyone's contributions are valuable.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Recognizing human potential; providing runway and trust required for employees to do their best work
Define and disseminate a product strategy; one that overcomes internal bias and builds toward a future of solving customer problems
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Health coverage is affordable enough

Relatively competitive salary (not the best, not the worst), but ownership upside opportunity and GREAT benefits for a company this size.

What are some of the best things about your team?
Amazing sense of humor. Very supportive team that helps each other be successful. Great focus on learning and growth makes me willing to try hard and take risks.
The team are all smart and great at what they do.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Build trusting relationships with each other
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Mission-oriented and fun with lots of humor.
Low on politics and drama. High on achievement.
There's a good mix between serious, heads-down work and breaks. I feel like meetings all have a purpose, and there isn't an emphasis on "face time" or working to appear busy.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
People team is aloof and misguided
What did you like most about the interview process?
Got to meet a lot of people.
Everyone is super friendly and put me at ease through the interview process.
The interview process was personal; I got to meet almost everyone in the company and interfaced very directly with the CEO.

Interactions with co-workers who are kind and who do great work. Lots of pictures of cute dogs!!
