Mr. Joseph Randall, also known as Joe, has been Executive Vice President at Emerald Expositions Events, Inc. since April 2014. Mr. Randall has been Senior Vice President of Building, Design, Medical, Military & Apparel at Emerald Expositions, Inc. (alternate name, Nielsen Business Media, Inc.) since 2006 and served as its Senior Vice President of Building Design Group. In this position, Mr. Randall is responsible for leading publications, events and digital offerings in the residential and commercial property design industry including DDI, GlobalShop, Commercial Property News, Contract, Hospitality Design magazine and events, Kitchen & Bath Business, Kitchen and Bath Industry Show, Multi-Housing News and Multi Housing World. He served as Senior Vice President of Building, Design, Medical, Military & Apparel at Emerald Expositions Events, Inc. from 2006 to March 2014. Mr. Randall has more than 34 years of management experience in the hospitality/media field. Most recently, he was Group President in the company's Expositions division before Nielsen Business Media (formerly VNU Business Media) was reorganized into market-focused groups in late 2006. Mr. Randall's group also produces publications and events in the decorated apparel and home healthcare industries including Impressions, The Imprinted Sportswear Shows and Medtrade as well as several properties based in China including Contract China magazine, Hospitality Design Asia Pacific magazine and Hospitality Design Asia Conference and Expo. Before that, Mr. Randall served as Director of the Health Care Group for Bill Communications, a former division of VNU, where he was responsible for managing one publication and six trade shows. Among his other management experience, Mr. Randall was the Director of Sales and Marketing & Group Show Director of Intertec Trade Shows, President of Argus Trade Shows and Director of Sales & Marketing for the Gwinnett Convention Center in suburban Atlanta. Mr. Randall also spent five years as National Sales Manager at the Georgia World Congress Center. He is a member of the International Association of Exposition Managers, Professional Convention Management Association and the Society of Independent Show Organizers. Mr. Randall received an A.B. in Economics from the University of Georgia.
