Executive Bio
Mr. J. Scott Enright, Esq., has been an Executive Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel of Emmis Communications Corp. since March 2009. Mr. Enright serves as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Emmis Operating Company. He served as the Associate General Counsel at Emmis Operating Company from September 2006 to February 2009 and served as its Vice President. He served as Vice President of Emmis Communications Corporation, a holding company of Emmis Operating Co. He was a partner in the Indianapolis law firm of Bose McKinney & Evans, LLP and worked in the Office of Indiana's Lt. Governor John M. Mutz. Professionally, he is on the Board of Managers of The Broadcast Traffic Consortium, LLC, a joint venture among several radio broadcasters to build a first-of-its-kind network to distribute traffic data in North America via radio technology. He has also served on the executive committee of the Sports and Entertainment Law Section of the Indianapolis Bar Association and is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel and the American Society of Corporate Secretaries. He is a founder of the United States Knarling Association. Mr. Enright is a graduate of St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and political science (1985) and Masters in Business Adminstration/Juris Doctorate (1990) from Bloomington's Kelley School of Business and School of Law, Indiana University.
