I have been employed by Emory off an on for several years in various capacities. I have enjoyed the various positions in which I have held. Emory affords one the opportunity to do different things within the health system.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We work very independently and we only converse with one another when we need to.
What makes you most happy at work?
I am happy because I work independently, I don't have someone riding my back on a consistent basis. I know what to do and I do it.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I work in an office by myself and I can listen to my music while I am working. I keep the music turned down low and it inspires me to work.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I understand that background checks are needed on employees but the process is very slow. After the background check, you have to wait for the orientation class so the process is kind of slow.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like the fact that the leadership teams seems to make excellent decisions regarding the healthcare system. I rarely hear negative information in the news regarding the system. In addition, I hear more positive than negative. I think this is a reflection of the leadership and the employees.
