Emser Tile Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

HSA options are great, one of the best parts of package

Review from HR Dept

The ability to control your earnings. The more effort you put into your work, the more you make.

Review from Sales Dept

Clearly outlined how I am compensated.

Review from Sales Dept

not applicable to me I am contractor

Review from HR Dept

401k matched without contribution requirements

Review from HR Dept

Best part would be commision

Review from Sales Dept

The complete package that makes up the total sum

Review from Business Development Dept

It is fair and allows for growth.

Review from Operations Dept

My salary is very competitive and fair for my role.

Review from HR Dept

The pay at Emser is at or slightly above market value but we also don't have a 401k match which is disappointing and our healthcare coverage is below average (although this year is much better than last).

Review from Sales Dept

That I am paid fairly for my job,

Review from HR Dept

Sales plus monthly commissions and bonus structure.

Review from Sales Dept

The 401K and health benefit packages are one of the best in the industry. The ability to navigate either one with a simple app means that I always know when I have to schedule a Dr's appt or check in on my retirement savings.

Review from Executive Dept

Commision rate and spec's, both

Review from Sales Dept

Healthcare costs continue to spiral out of control for the average person. Emser puts the needs of their people ahead of their own to make sure our team has quality and affordable healthcare.

Review from Executive Dept

Compensated fairly for the work provided

Review from HR Dept

The pay and other perks

Fair compensation and substantial benefits package

Review from Operations Dept

It is distributed mthy and quarterly.

Review from Operations Dept

The pay is aligned with the role, industry and market. The part that stands out is the variety of options for health and other benefits.

Review from Sales Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Pay me what I am worth..

Review from Sales Dept

Our benefits package is not competitive with the current market today. Our PTO policy specifically, is outdated and is not reflective of what the market wants today.

Review from HR Dept

Less commission and a higher salary. I started at a challenging time, and what I signed up for has not panned out, because the housing market completely collapsed

Review from Sales Dept

A more competitive base salary with better benefits would help. I don't feel undervalued, but I do feel overrides and overtime or relied too heavily on to achieve competitive compensation levels at the branch level.

Review from Sales Dept

I would like to see our benefits more allighned with other companies when spouse carrier the bulk of the benefits

Review from Operations Dept

while upper mgt will listen, their the lack of action from listening is disappointing. Their can not be a one sized fits all approach when servicing 4 differnet segements that opperate differently. Higher base pay and 401K match

Review from Sales Dept

I have been with the company for 3 years and have never received a raise except with a promotion and that raise was not fair given the tasks. Many accomplishments, fully retrained the staff and also boosted sales but no adjustments in compensation. A fair increase would make me feel better.

Review from Operations Dept

A raise would be nice.

Review from Customer Support Dept

comp does not match market rates

Review from Sales Dept

I been with the company for over 38 years and i feel i should be making more money but i love emser and this is where i want to retire, love the people i work with.

Review from Customer Support Dept

I feel there a employees under me that the compensation spread is not enough.

Review from Operations Dept

I enjoy the job, my co-workers , and management but not completely satisfied with the pay scale for the front office. We work amusingly to get orders out and build relationships with the branches to get orders in and out the door.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Comparatively speaking, pay rates amongst other customer/support/service representatives within the same area are being paid more, with the same amount of benefits as what our company is providing.

Review from Customer Support Dept

I do feel valued. Compensation structure could be reevaluated / restructured to better fit the specific market.

Review from Sales Dept

Base salary is lower overall than current market. Commissions are expected to meet standard salary with potential to earn more but that remains unseen and temporary subsidy based on historical values only comes to within 10% of market standard.

Review from Operations Dept

I assist with running one of the largest branches in the company. I manage a larger team then most other branches both on the operations side as well as the sales side. The amount of paperwork I process is larger and more demanding then what I have see in other branches.

Review from Operations Dept

Loyal and consistent hard working employees are often overlooked because they make no waves. They don't have to be talked to, disciplined, or otherwise thought about, but these are the individuals who are keeping things going. There is no reward, compensation or acknowledgement for this.

I would feel more valued if I was paid what I was owed based off a wrong compensation plan from corporate. A company should not have their "values" posted in the breakroom, one being integrity, when they do not do what is right for their employees.

No money put towards swag for customers and branch managers should be given more monthly dollars to spend on what they see fit

Review from Sales Dept

My total compensation hasn't improved in 5 years. Cost of living is considerably higher.
