The fast paced changes in the day to day job keep me engaged. I get very bored with the same thing over and over again but at Emser it can be quite hectic which for me is a good thing to keep me going.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Listen to your employees as they are the ones in the trenches that bring you back market research to better make decisions. Instead, decisions are made from a chair that don't benefit the field.

We have not replaced headcount. More strain on the rest of the team. Headcount

Branch is understaffed and affects daily procedures.

The days are long and stressful- being fulled staffed would lessen the workload. Also, having salesreps take accountability and be proactive with their accounts would reduce the stress for the branch and accounts. Lastly, more proactive inventory planning would be awesome!

Supply and Demand is making my job and relationships a struggle along with lack of support from some branch support. Branch has been understaffed since Day 1

I want to know more about what the leadership team is thinking on a daily/weekly basis. I feel like they are nice, but I'm not sure what is important to them about our success.

Pay falls behind inflation. No annual pay bumps.

There are not enough resources to complete the workload at hand. The company runs too lean so when a day comes that not everything runs exactly how it should, you constantly feel like you are drowning because you run at the bare minimum every day.
