Umberto Francesco Vergine — Chief Midstream Gas & Power Officer and Non-Independent Executive Director of Saipem Spa at ENI S.p.A.

Mr. Umberto Francesco Vergine has been the Chief Midstream Gas & Power Officer at Eni SpA since November 2015. Mr. Vergine served as the Chief Executive Officer of Saipem SpA, a subsidiary of Eni SpA from December 5, 2012 to April 30, 2015. Mr. Vergine served as the Chief Operating Officer of Gas & Power Division at Eni SpA from January 1, 2012 to December 5, 2012. He served as a Senior Executive Vice President of Studies and Researches at Eni SpA from April 2010 to December 31, 2011. He joined Eni in 1984. Having started his career in Agip as Petroleum Engineer, he worked from 1985 to 1991 in Norway on the Ekofisk field, in Angola in Cabinda and in Libia in Tripoli. He took the responsibility of Production manager of the Crema District in the North of Italy. He covered various leading positions overseas, managing different E&P Eni's companies from 1993 to 2001. From 1996 to 2001, Mr. Vergine served as District Manager of Agip UK in Aberdeen, District General Manager of Nigerian Agip Oil Co in Port Harcourt and General Manager of Petrobel Company in Egypt. Since 2001, he served as the Managing Director of Lasmo Venezuela in Caracas. He served as Managing Director of Ieoc in Cairo since 2002. At Eni E&P Division, Mr. Vergine held responsibilities as Regional Vice President West Africa and Egypt, Senior Vice President for North Sea, Americas, Russia, Far East and Pacific, Senior Vice President Technologies & Services, and Executive Vice President for South Europe, Central Asia, Far East and Pacific. Mr. Vergine had been a Director of Saipem SpA since October 27, 2010. He is a Chartered Civil Engineer from Politecnico di Milano.
