Mr. Robert Ross Rooney, also known as Bob, LLB, QC, has been the Chief Legal Officer and Executive Vice President at Enbridge Inc., since February 1, 2017. He has been a Director of Enbridge Gas Distribution Inc., since 2017. He serves as a Director of Ferus Gas Industries Trust, Bennett Jones LLP and Temple Exploration Inc. He served as an Independent Director of Athabasca Oil Corporation since May 4, 2016. He served as a Director of Repsol Oil & Gas Canada Inc. since May 8, 2015 until May 1, 2016; Cordero Energy Inc. since April 27, 2005 and Gentry Resources Ltd. since May 2007. He served as an Independent Director of MGM Energy Corp. from January 11, 2007 to July 30, 2013. He served as Director of Temple Energy Inc. Mr. Rooney served as a Director of M.L. He is a Member of the Calgary Bar Association, the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association, the Canadian Petroleum Law Foundation, the Association of Internal Petroleum Negotiators and the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation. Mr. Rooney holds an LLB from the University of Western Ontario in 1983.
