Marcus Brown — Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Entergy Corporation

Mr. Marcus V. Brown has been an Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Entergy Corporation and its subsidiaries Entergy New Orleans, Inc. and System Energy Resources Inc. since August 4, 2013 and January 27, 2012 respectively. Mr. Brown has been an Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Entergy Arkansas, Inc., EL Investment Company, LLC (formerly, Entergy Louisiana, LLC), Entergy Texas, Inc. and Entergy Mississippi, Inc. since 2013 and February 3, 2012 respectively and served as its Senior Vice President since February 3, 2012 until 2013. He served as an Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Entergy Gulf States Louisiana, L.L.C. since 2012. He served as Senior Vice President at Entergy Corporation and its subsidiaries, Entergy Gulf States Louisiana, L.L.C., Entergy New Orleans, Inc. and System Energy Resources Inc. from January 27, 2012 to August 4, 2013. He served as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of Entergy Services, Inc. (Entergy Corporation), an affiliate of Entergy New Orleans, Inc. from 2009 to 2012. Prior to Entergy, Mr. Brown served as an Associate Attorney in the New Orleans-based Stone Pigman law firm, concentrated his practice in commercial litigation, copyright and trademark protection and constitutional law. He has been a Director at Energy Insurance Mutual Limited Company since May 11,2017. He has a certificate in Corporate Governance from Harvard Business School in 2009. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern University A&M College in 1985 and a Juris Doctorate from the Southern University Law Center in 1988, where he was a Member of the Law Review. Mr. Brown received his MBA from the Tulane University A.B. Freeman School of Business in 2002.
