Roderick West — Group President of Utility Operations at Entergy Corporation

Mr. Roderick K. West, also known as Rod, has been Group President of Utility Operations at Entergy Corporation since July 1, 2017. Mr. West served as an Executive Vice President of Entergy Corporation from June 7, 2010 to July 1, 2017 and its Member of Office of the Chief Executive from May 8, 2016 to July 1, 2017. He served as Chief Administrative Officer at Entergy Corporation since June 7, 2010 until 2016. Mr. West served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Entergy New Orleans, Inc. from 2007 to June 14, 2010. He joined Entergy in April 1999 as Senior Regulatory Counsel, where he served as Manager of Regulatory Affairs for Entergy New Orleans since September 1999. Since August 2000, he served as Senior Regulatory Counsel to the Entergy/FPL Merger Team. He served as Director of Regulatory Affairs at Entergy New Orleans from April 2001 to January 2004. He began his professional career in 1993 with the New Orleans-based law firm of Jones, Walker, Waechter, Poitevent, Carrere & Denegre, LLP., where he served for five years. He served as a Senior Attorney of Vial, Hamilton, Koch & Knox, LLP. He served as an Adjunct Professor at Tulane University from 1993 to 2001, where he taught Business & Legal Aspects of Sport in the Department of Exercise & Sports Science and amateur sports law courses in the Tulane University School of Law. He served as a Region Manager for Distribution Operations at Entergy Services, Inc. from 2003 to 2005. Mr. West served as Vice President for the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center He serves as Chairman of the Louisiana State University System Board of Supervisors. He served as the Chairman of Entergy New Orleans, Inc. from 2007 to March 2, 2011. Mr. West has been a Trustee at University of Notre Dame since June 2009. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board at SMART WIRES INC. Mr. West serves as a Director of Greater New Orleans, Inc. He served as a Director at Metro Distribution Operations of Entergy Services, Inc. from 2005 to 2006. He served as a Director of Entergy New Orleans, Inc., a subsidiary of Entergy Corporation from September 22, 2005 to March 2, 2011. He served as a Director of First Bank and Trust (New Orleans, LA) until October 6, 2016. He served as a Director of the New Orleans Bar Association. He served as Chairman of the New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute and Director of the Louisiana Recovery Authority. Mr. West served as a Commissioner of the New Orleans Public Belt Railroad and Director of both the Allstate Sugar Bowl. He is a Member of the State Bar of Louisiana and the American Bar Association. He graduated from Brother Martin High School in New Orleans in 1986. He has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame. He holds Juris Doctor from the Tulane University School of Law in 1993 and Masters in Business Administration from Tulane University in 2005.
