Mr. Gary L. Thomas has been President of EOG Resources, Inc. since March 4, 2015. Mr. Thomas served as the Chief Operating Officer of EOG Resources, Inc. since September 7, 2011 until December 13, 2017. Mr. Thomas served as a Senior Executive Vice President of Operations at EOG Resources, Inc., from February 26, 2007 to September 7, 2011. He served as an Executive Vice President, North America Operations of EOG Resources Inc. since May 1998 and served as its Executive Vice President, Operations from May 1998 to February 26, 2007. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of EOG's Midland Division. Mr. Thomas joined a predecessor of EOG in July 1978. He holds a Petroleum Engineering degree from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master's degree in Engineering Management from The University of Tulsa.
