LOW COST TO EMPLOYEE, EXTESNSIVE MEDICAL INSURANCE, 401K IS GREAT, SEVERAL OTHER MEDICAL AND CONDITIONAL BENEFITS AVAILABLE.
401K is very generous benefit
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The base salary is too low across the board (for all positions).
Pay the overtime necessary to take care of the equipment
What are some of the best things about your team?
OUR TEAM SHARES KNOWLEDGE AND ADVICE, AND SUPPORTS EACH OTHER.
The collaboration and knowledge sharing is great. If someone has a question we all work together to figure it out, and we all learn from it. There is also a great pitch for people to dedicate at least some of their time to projects that interest them.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
FAMILY STYLE RELATIONSHIPS. MOST CORPORATE POLITICS ARE KEPT TO A MINIMUM FROM INTERFERRING IN DECISIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS.
Everyone is encouraged to be a part of the ERCOT community whether it’s playing sports together or going to lunch together. Especially for someone like me who is shy, people made it easy for me to be comfortable and come out of my shel

Upper level management needs to worry more about the product than th bottom line
What did you like most about the interview process?
IT WAS MULTI STAGE, MEETING WITH MANY DIFFERENT PEOPLE RELATED TO MY ROLE.
Friendly and professional. HR didn't push too hard on my current salary. They were interested in what salary I was looking for.
