Not respected & overworked. Engineers are not respected.
My overall experience has been that I came in with little experience in the field, and now I'm a professional.
They hired me to make changes in the company but they didn’t want to fix the things I suggested. Essentially they liked their broken processes more and left everything the way they had it, which cost the analyst extra time and could potentially effect the data being collec
It was pleasant experience learning all important knowledge, skills and innovation required to succeed in particular role. Although more responsibility is seen in every role, I would expect better hourly rates and more incentive for future roles including current roles at workplace.
