Leadership needs to understand that good engineer are not necessarily the best at managing people and leading teams. Place more value on building teams and showing your employees you value them.

Base salary was very low Travel Expenses were never reimbursed in a timely manner. This caused me, as an employee, to be essentially out of pocket up to over $1000 a month. Benefits were very expensive and ate a substantial amount of monthly pay.
The very few team members that had longevity were a wealth of knowledge and eager to share that knowledge as they knew that the lack of product training for new team mates could be very frustrating
