Medical Insurance, HSA, love the company contribution family of $1.100.00 per year, 401k match, retirement, and stock options .
Review from HR Dept
Excellent 401(k) match, good options and reasonably priced health insurance, good range of benefits - dependent care account, supplemental life insurance, etc
The benefits package is very good
The 401k match program. filler word.
The total package is great. You can get up to 10% 401K match, the pay is great, plenty of PTO, the bonus structure is also good.
Salary and PTO schedule are good
401 (k) instead of pension allows my spouse and I to plan accurately. Health insurance premiums are lower than site's previous owner.
multiple options for medical benefits
salary and the fact that there is any insurance although I wish the insurance was better.
Review from Engineering Dept
Good 401k matching, Good health insurance and bonus.
The benefits and paid-time off offered is good
Company 401(k) match and company retirement contribution
The coverage is very good.
Its all good. Lots of flexibility.
I would choose the bonus
Review from Finance Dept
Salary adequate for the position
Salary and bonus payout structure
The fact that the company contribute to your 401K even if you don't
The PTO days that are available
Review from Engineering Dept
The 401k. Hands down. Much higher than industry average.

The pay at Evonik is not competitive and the benefit offerings are minimal compared to other North American biotech companies.
all the companies min this area and industry are higher paid and have better benefits we work many extra hours to cover vacancies and do feel under appreciated
Not applicable at the moment
Making sure I am fairly compensated for my education and experience.
Review from Customer Support Dept
Evonik must recognize its pharma sites are different from its traditional chemical manufacturing sites. The regulations and demands are substantially different. To attract and retain the talent required to be successful and maintain that success, pay will have to align with the pharma industry.
Better work/life balance. Wage increases to keep up with inflation.
When the pandemic hit some of the contractors were laid off and that lead to short staffed in operators, but still having the same amount if not more work. We are currently winging it with just 2 shifts working 24/5. The process for new hires is frozen as of now.
I am not making what is considered industry standard for an engineer compared to our competitors.
Review from Engineering Dept
Other local employers (and those less than an hour's drive away) tend to have higher pay rates than what Evonik currently offers. Several people have left to pursue these careers and I see that number increasing in the near future.
I need to be same rate as my peers, I do almost more work than them but less paid
Compensation/raises have not kept up with the cost of living. Others in the same position are making more than me with less experience and similar reviews. A raise.
Review from Engineering Dept
From a benchmarking perspective, there are similar positions (requirements, responsibilities) in other companies with a higher compensation.
Market value for the quantity and volume of work actually done
Review from Finance Dept
Being more at a mid point. I've been here several years and am at the lower end of my pay scale. Will never catch up to mid point.
Review from HR Dept
I am consistently performing tasks outside of my job description, but not paid or promoted accordingly. New personnel are brought in with less experience at higher grade levels, but personnel who have been with the company do not receive the same pay/title adjustments.
My company was aquired at Evonik. I do not believe my position was made to be an equivalent position at the same location that I was getting integrated into. I had vast years more experience with another in the same position - yet I was brought in at a lower manager level.
For it to be re-evaluated yearly due to increased stress/work load and inflation
The performance rating system could be improved. Regarding compensation, improvement of parity would go a long way.
There is no work-life balance at Evonik. Everyone is replaceable. Evonik does not do much to retain loyal talent.
Review from Customer Support Dept
Payment is not market comparable.
