Executive Bio

Ms. Rachel Rebecca Stern has been Senior Vice President and Secretary of Factset Research Systems Inc. since October 1, 2009 and has been its General Counsel since 2001. Ms. Stern is responsible for Investor Relations; Human Resources; Facilities and Real Estate Planning; Third-Party Content and Strategic Partnerships; Knowledge Management; and Leadership Development. Ms. Stern is responsible for these functions globally, including the company's two largest offices in Hyderabad, India and Manila, the Philippines, where the Managing Directors report directly to her. Ms. Stern joined FactSet in 2001. She served as Vice President of Factset Research Systems Inc. She is admitted to practice in New York and Washington D.C., and as House Counsel in Connecticut. Ms. Stern is a member of the Board of WESFACCA (Westchester/Southern Connecticut Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel), Vice Chairman of the Board of Friends of the Neuberger Museum of Art at SUNY Purchase College; and Treasurer of the American Foundation for the Courtauld Institute of Art. She is a member of the National Board of Advisors of the Baldwin School, in Byrn Marr, Pennsylvania, of which she has been a trustee. She received her law degree from the University of Pennsylvania, B.A. summa cum laude from Yale University and M.A. with distinction from the University of London.
