It is a very cool place to work if you like high energy physics.

I have been a technician for about 5 years and I enjoy what I do, but there is no career path for techs, unless you are a "favorite". Techs are grossly under paid.

Most of the workforce is working from home except for vital staff. My dept and section bas been flexible with time off and gives me interesting projects.

Room for growth, collaboration with many kinds of scientists and engineers, inclusive of differing cultures, LGBT-friendly.

Productive, fun, and tiring, to summarize.

They're transparent about the director search, have a wide variety of panelists for the search.

Their brownbag mtgs on covid, telecommuting, etc.

Very welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. I am never intimidated to approach my superior to better communicate work tasks.

Tuition Assistance runs 10k to 13k each year.

10% of your salary is vested to retirement after 2 years of service.

10% salary in a 401a after 2 years of employment

The taxes are very low.

We work on different parts individually with no micromanaging from the team manager. We collaborate when necessary and share our results several times a week in short meetings.
