As a remote position, I'm finding this one really poor. As a NY based company, the favoritism towards NY employees is outrageous, as someone coming from another state. The management is terribly slow to respond for requests for time off. For this project, it advertised as full time, but isnt.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Having full time hours, and a better pay rate.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My teammates are all excellent. It's management where Fidelis utterly fails.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Have management and upper levels change basic policy. It shouldn't be an circus to report an issue.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
Make it less detail intensive. 7 years of previous employment is a lot to keep track of, unless you have goals for long term employment.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The training needs to be more of a focal point. If there are uncontrollable issues within a training session, it should be extended to accommodate those problems.
