Executive Bio
Stephan Fluhler is the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of First Merchants Bank. He began his career with First Merchants in 2000 and became our first Change Manager in April 2001, creating the Merger & Acquisition integration process he continues to evolve as we continue our growth. He was subsequently promoted to Director of Technology Services & Change Management in 2003 and then to Chief Technology Officer in 2006.
His banking career started in 1992 at Deutsche Financial Services. His positions there included Field Auditor, Credit Manager, Senior Portfolio Analyst and Chief Technology Specialist. Mr. Fluhler is a graduate of Barry University with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance and an MBA from Ball State University.
