Mr. Edward L. Shuttleworth serves as a Regional President of Metropolitan Edison Company at FirstEnergy Corp. Mr. Shuttleworth served as Director of Operations Support of The Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company. Mr. Shuttleworth began his career with Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company in 1989 at Penn Power's New Castle Power Plant. Over the years he has served in a variety of operations and managerial positions, including: Supervisor, Meter Department at Penn Power; Manager, Regional Dispatch Office for Ohio Edison/Penn Power; Manager, Substation Department for Ohio Edison; and General Manager, Substation Services for The Illuminating Company. Mr. Shuttleworth holds bachelor's degree in electrical engineering technology from Youngstown State University and an Associate's degree from Penn State University.
