He served as Director of Financial Reporting at Ohio Edison since 1992 and served as its Group Controller for FirstEnergy Solutions since 2001. He served as Group Controller of FirstEnergy Solutions since 2004. He serves as a Director of Pennsylvania Electric Company and Mobile Meals. Mr. Pearson served as a Director of FirstEnergy Solutions Corp. until November 15, 2016. He serves as the business Chairman for the Great Trail Council Friends of Scouting Business Division at Mobile Meals. Mr. Pearson received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Westminster College, New Wilmington, Pennsylvania, in 1976 and Completed the Reactor Technology Course for Utility Executives at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
