It has been a poor experience for me with the fact that I haven't had a store manager almost the entire time I have worked at Five Below also my district manager doesn't do much at the stores and always pushes everything off onto other managers in the district instead of handling it himself
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
Not having to have 4 or more interviews
What makes you most happy at work?
Dealing with the guest needs
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I love that out purpose is to let go and have fun but I can't do that anymore since I was talked to about my sexual orientation being offensive
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The 3 Cs need to be present in the kansas city metro market and our district manager needs to be more involved with the stores that have no store manager and he needs to deal with concerns from staff better
What are some of the best things about your team?
Not sure how to answer this at this moment since I don't feel valued by five below due to a conversation I had with somebody in HR involving my sexual orientation that should never have been an issue or brought up
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I work my butt off for this company and I'm always having unpleasant conversations with our district Manger I feel like that work that I have done acting as an SM since we haven't had one and I have not been properly trained in my position I was just thrown to the wolves
