Fivetran Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Excellent health coverage and plentiful PTO (that isn't unlimited, specifically to ensure we use it!)

Review from Marketing Dept

I'm happy with everything - salary, PTO, benefits.

Review from Marketing Dept

It's transparent, not leaving you to guess what the compensation will be

Review from Engineering Dept

Benefits and perks are top notch

Review from Sales Dept

Personal learning stipend of $1500, competitive salary

Review from Marketing Dept

The stock options are generous

Review from Marketing Dept

I think the base/OTE could be a little higher for Commercial Reps. The options, provided I can actually buy them. I am nervous about a layoff and the rules for purchasing them in the event of some sort of layoff.

Review from Sales Dept

Private insurance, salary, lunch: are great!

Review from Marketing Dept

The shares that we get after a year

Review from Marketing Dept

We are given several great health insurance choices covered by the company. This enables us to select the best benefits based on personal circumstances.

Review from Marketing Dept

We get a very generous amount of paid time off.

Review from Design Dept

Fantastic PTO and employee paid health care premiums

Review from Marketing Dept

Pet Insurance, Parental leave for fathers, great office!

Review from Sales Dept

Very generous PTO and mat/pat leave; taking time to recharge is an example set at the top

Review from Marketing Dept

Fivetran provides their employees with great benefits, from awesome health insurance to a large amount of PTO that is encouraged to be used.

Review from Marketing Dept

stock, medical benefits, PTO, meals

Review from Sales Dept

Paid Medical Benefits, PTO, and OTE.

Review from Sales Dept

The benefits are great, and the pay is on par with the industry!

Review from Marketing Dept

Maternity leave and amount of days we have off.

Review from Marketing Dept

Options and RSUs definitely help keep me vested in the company's success.

Review from Marketing Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Work / Life balance is not really good. US Teams pays no attention to other team members working hours in different regions. Also, compensation isn't mapped correctly. Employees with 2+ years of experience are getting the same comp as employees having 6+ years experience in same team

fivetran does not pay a competitive rate

We have lost days off and parental leave this year. Benefits packages are not comparable across different geos. % pay raises don't kept up with inflation. Better comms needed from leadership that explains why benefits are structured the way they are and they need to "show the work"

Review from Marketing Dept

I think the base/OTE could be a little higher for Commercial Reps.

Review from Sales Dept

Feel salary is below industry standards

Review from Marketing Dept

The Comp is not equivalent to market average, there are hardly any additional benefits that the company provides

Review from Marketing Dept

Comp is not market for the role and equity is wiped. Entirety of equity comp is going to zero for the next 2-4 years so unless you're willing to wait it out, the comp is entirely salary.

Review from Customer Support Dept

For many of us hired in the past year most of the benefits listed in our job descriptions are gone. Reduction in paid holidays, no Camp Fivetran, no In-person SKO, no office visits for In-person connection.ERG values are negated with events like closing business with FOTF & altering tweets

Review from Sales Dept

Sales salaries have always been low but with comp levers that can make reps whole. Now those levers are being taken away, leaving reps with just below-market salaries.

Review from Sales Dept

The top down treatment of employees would be grounds for termination if the same behavior was demonstrated bottom up.

Review from Engineering Dept

They increased our quota targets with only a few days advanced notice despite the fact that the team was barely able to hit our target the previous month - this means less money for more work. I was sold on stories of my team hitting accelerators now it seems I won't even make my target comp.

Review from Sales Dept

All review periods are not the same. One is for comp, while the other seems to simply be an exercise. All review periods should include comp for work and efforts. The way it is cycled, there is a population who would not get a merit raise for well over a year.

Review from Engineering Dept

Being paid a larger base salary

Review from Sales Dept

No bonus, salaries not competitive for my level in the current market, health and wellness benefits needs to better cover dependants.

Review from Engineering Dept

CSM compensation is capped. It doesn't make sense that if we can bring in more money for the company that we wouldn't be compensated for that.

Review from Customer Success Dept

I compare myself to peers in similar roles at other organizations and see that I am making less TC. To feel better, I think I'd prefer more base and/or performance-based bonuses.

Review from Engineering Dept

The lack of a bonus structure is surprising and lowers my value to the company. Additional benefits that are offered at many companies of this size would be welcomed as well. Examples being LinkedIn Learning, Professional Coaching sessions, random giveaways to boost morale.

Review from Sales Dept

I would like to see compensation on accounts that reach a close won status.

Review from Sales Dept

Benefits we get as an employee are not as per the general standards

Review from Sales Dept

Performance based yearly bonus should be introduced.
