their jobs. they have no idea what they are doing
I think the leadership team lacks empathy.

The beatings should not continue until morale improves.
Review from Engineering Dept
Trust the team - There's too much top down opinion on what we should do and how we do our job. We are experts in our own fields. Give us the autonomy to make independent decisions that will benefit Fivetran, without George blocking us.

Reduce the amount of micromanagement
Review from Sales Dept
Work / Life balance is not really good. US Teams pays no attention to other team members working hours in different regions. Also, compensation isn't mapped correctly. Employees with 2+ years of experience are getting the same comp as employees having 6+ years experience in same team
fivetran does not pay a competitive rate
We have lost days off and parental leave this year. Benefits packages are not comparable across different geos. % pay raises don't kept up with inflation. Better comms needed from leadership that explains why benefits are structured the way they are and they need to "show the work"

I think the base/OTE could be a little higher for Commercial Reps.

Feel salary is below industry standards
Review from Marketing Dept
social interaction with remote work
Review from Engineering Dept
Some of them are difficult to work with. I think part of it is they feel overwhelmed and dont have the energy to help with requests
Review from Customer Support Dept
More in-depth knowledge of underlying software fundamentals; more attention to detail; better communication skills; improved reading comprehension
Review from Engineering Dept
be communicative, co-ordinate and share experiences on what they are working on, and involve.
Review from Product Dept
Being part of a digital-first company can be hard. But, I don't think that's unique to Fivetran. I appreciate that the company invests in company-wide, in-person events; but it makes growing a rapport hard.
Review from Marketing Dept
Equal distribution of work and respecting other team members' time zones. Seems like there is only one region currently who have to stretch their working hours to long hours and late nights to accommodate people in the US. No mental health benefits. Compensation benchmarking should be correct
replace leadership to ensure people who are the top know how to run a company. listen to the feedback the people who work there give you on a consistent basis and at least pretend to make an effort to do something about it
Well, do not organize meeting about Equity, Equality and Diversity just because you have a plan to organize meeting about Equity, Equality and Diversity. I often feel that such activities are completely isolated from people real needs
Review from Engineering Dept
Employees need to know about their own bias and try to negate them when they are communicating and making any inference. Not all have the same background and knowledge, so we need to embrace this diversity first rather than hue and cry about D & I.

the company is being run into the ground.
There is a lot of uncertainty and chaos at the moment. The introduction of a 13th month has put a lot of team members in mental limbo. It has been challenging to get excited and motivate the teams without clarity and strong executive leadership
Review from Marketing Dept
Its honestly unacceptable to fire 5% in october and then tell folks they reduced burn enough but then end up culling another 20% just 4 months later. Bill Gurley has always maintained the right philosophy when it comes to cutting is "measure twice and cut once" -> cut once, cut deeper than you have.
Review from Customer Support Dept
The iron fist of leadership guiding you in mutually exclusive directions
Review from Engineering Dept
Do not like the feeling of starting with zero in regards to trust, makes me feel like I'm not actually needed.
the way layoffs and reorgs are approached and communicated to the greater organization
