
As an intern at Flatiron, you’ll own a project and collaborate with members of the Flatiron community to bring it to life. At the end of the summer, you’ll present it to the entire company. Projects range from building new tools, optimizing workflows or discovering new solutions. Past intern projects have included:
Beginning a ground-up rebuild of Flatiron’s patient portal
Concepting a SMS-based nurse triage system for clinics to manage their patients
Building a patient experience visualizer to help researchers understand the entire patient journey
Creating a model for more intelligent patient data search using advanced machine learning technologies
Interns will also receive a housing stipend and have the opportunity to participate in unique outings around New York City and/or virtually.
