How employees describe working at Fortegra
I work with wonderful people and earn wonderful pay to provide wonderful services. I love it here. Lunch is free. Working in the office, best thing ever for an extrovert in a world where many jobs are WFH, I love it.
Again I would like a users manual it would be so nice to have a hard copy to be able to refer too
I have had a positive experience so far
I love the mentorship and opportunity to grow and develop my skills.
Lack of communication between departments and from management to employees. Low pay and high turnover. Leadership positions filled from outside making there no room for career advancement within the company.

Make sure that your resume is in order. Make sure that if you say you can do it, you can do it. They don't try to trick you and interviews are really straightforward. It's a No BS environment so if it's on your resume they assume you are ready to speak about it.

It's laid back. As long as you do your job you'll have a good time and they are very accommodating. If you do your work you'll be able to get things done in 40 hours a week, maybe less at times, maybe a little more at others. Slow and consistent gets the job done and they have a firm belief in Measure Twice cut once. If you do that and make sure to rely on the management you'll have an easy time.

It's a collaborative environment with a reasonable amount of oversight and they are very open minded with respect to learning and supporting new technologies.

All our devs quit bc of death marches. We're stuck in the 90s (still have major apps in ASP. Green screen keeps us afloat. Morale is dead.
