Actually managing and No micromanaging
Time for employees and do one on ones even when someone is performing well. HR should also find other options when employees have told them they don't feel supported.
Need to start leading. Stop hiring friends

401k matching but this should not be a reason to stay

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Pay market salary. Lot of managers and too many people are asking the same information and reports. Too many legacy controls and people are stepping on each other's responsibilities to keep their job. Totally chaotic middle management and communication is always top down.
There is no work life balance.
Pay for the area is quite low. No raises last couple years
Compensation is limited by the regulator

Need new management and a new way of thinking. Get rid of the establishment

Come prepared to interview by reading the resume well before. Stick to the experience. Do not ask academic questions for senior level.
