Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They all bring a tremendous amount of experience to the table and are well-spoken/transparent about company objectives.
Transparent, thoughtful, and honest. They share good news and bad, and are upfront about how to navigate uncertainties in the market. They also take the time to celebrate wins, which is important for generating morale.
The leadership team is very down-to-earth and open. They are easy to reach and practice excellent communication from the top down.
They are very approachable and transparent. You can feel their passion and enthusiasm for the mission of the organization.
How approachable they are. They treat everyone at Fundbox as an equal and it's amazing.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
False compassion, false integrity, false sense of family. Like many companies these days, they falsely try and project this image that they are a caring company they value the success of the employee as a deceptive marketing strategy. But overall just another toxic corporation.
Need to hire people with more experienced
What is the best part about your compensation package?
My base salary is competitive, and it is nice that everybody in the company gets equity.
You can tell the company really values their employees by the awesome benefits package which includes a health insurance plan that is at no cost to the employer and a monthly uber eats stipend.
The RSUs grant. RSUs are given to every employee at Fundbox!
The focus on equal pay - this past year has been nuts with the great resignation and Fundbox does as much as it can to ensure we are being paid fairly for the role we have.
I believe in salaries, the rest are so fuzzy you can't optimize for. But, a very nice RSU package has been introduced to remove the (not cheap) exercise-price that we've had before
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Misleading and could use more transperancy.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Everybody is brilliant and supportive. It's a great, collaborative environment.
My team works amazingly well together. I've been really impressed with the collaboration. There is always enthusiasm to jump in and help one another out when you need a hand.
The collaboration! And that all bring something unique to the table.
A bunch of great people who enjoy interacting and working together (also outside of work). We all believe we can be honest and debate, and the communication is great.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
The culture here is really great, but I think people could do a better job of socializing while in the office.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Very inclusive and progressive. Nice
There is a strong culture of learning and support. People are trusted to figure things out, even if they haven't taken on a similar project previously.
The culture is something special. Very down-to-earth, open, relaxed, and fun. The culture is my favorite part of working here, and I know many others feel the same as me. It's the best culture I've ever been a part of. Every single person here is good, kind, and decent, always doing the right thing.
You can feel the passion of every employee to push towards achieving goals for the success of the organization. The culture is hard to explain but something that I've never been a part of but feel grateful to experience. Love the mission of providing fast and easy capital to small businesses!
It's hard to explain. There is genuine respect for one another, but also a safe environment to disagree.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?

What did you like most about the interview process?
I liked how open everyone was. I felt like my questions were always answered with absolute honesty and transparency. Plus, everyone was very positive and pleasant to talk with. Big focus on culture in the interview process, which is great, as that's very important.
The interview process helped confirm my strong interest in joining the organization. I was impressed with the thought put behind the process, who I met with, and the questions asked. I really enjoyed meeting with everyone, They seemed very smart, hungry and yet humble. Very genuine.
The speed - we moved through the process quickly.
It was ages ago, but from the other side of the interviewer - we care about people's time, and look for nice people with good chemistry

The people I work with everyday!
Building friendships with my teammates
The attention to positive culture, fairness, and fun.
That my small contribution has a trickle down to help the small business economy grow.
The people. But also the technical tasks, and knowing that we do help small businesses.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Again, stop hiring narcissistic personalities. Fire people on the spot who gossip and make it a point to bring down other employees.
