Poor care for patients, mean coworkers, staff does not care

Everything needs to change. First of all, more staff and better care for the patients.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I have no benefits, my coworkers are awful to me, each other, and the patients, and in my first week of working I had to report patient abuse. I'm rarely called in for work and want to make more than $11 an hour.
