Global Atlantic Financial Group Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Total compensation package is reasonable.

Review from Finance Dept

Salary... but besides that I like the lifestyle account. Flexible and easy to use.

Review from Operations Dept

The annual bonus placeholder placeholder

everything from wfh, work life balance, pto, perks like yard goats tickets, and more

Review from Operations Dept

I love that I am free to go to the doctor, and that i have an HSA that i can use for my medications.

Review from Operations Dept

The HSA, and health insurance in general

Review from IT Dept

The best part of the packagae is all of it

Review from Business Development Dept

the base salary and bonus

Review from Finance Dept

It makes you feel valued. Everything that they provide is awesome, but it does not feel as if it is given as a control tactic it feels more like they want you to be comfortable so that you can be the best at what you do.

Review from Legal Dept

The best part is the free lunch and snacks. It saves me time and money every week and its incomparable to any other company I've seen.

lifestyle reimbursement stipend (5k for analyst)

Review from Finance Dept

variable comp opportunities, stock and cash

Review from Finance Dept

Fair, well balanced and comprehensive

Review from Finance Dept

I am paid competitively, and the 401k match is top notch!

Review from Customer Support Dept

The actual compensation amount as well at the stock from KKR.

Review from Finance Dept

Heathcare costs are based on salary.

Review from Finance Dept

The entire compensation package is incredible. I'd like to see more for tuition reimbursement or sponsorship potentially in the future.

Review from Operations Dept

The best part of my compensation package is the Long term incentive. And my salary is competitive.

Review from Finance Dept

Health benefits are very comprehensive

Review from Customer Support Dept

KKR stock ownership, 401k matching, and access to comparable insurance plans in the industry

Review from Sales Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

We live in CT the cost of living is high and I don't believe we are compensated with the cost of living in mind. I've had to take a 2nd job to pay my bills as a single Mom. The demand to be present at work for 40 hours leaves me needing to hire help for my kiddo, This is also a huge gap in the pay.

Review from Operations Dept

I would like to be paid more based on my prior experience.

Review from Operations Dept

Stop posting pay levels for NY to job postings-its very misleading. This company is not market competitive; I took quite a pay cut to join. Scott & Allan both eluded to keeping staffing low and producing more work-you WILL lose people with the low pay and high expectations.

Review from Operations Dept

There isn't much room to grow in other departments. I feel type cast and there isn't a focus on creating leadership with non-managerial employees.

Review from Operations Dept

my pay rate is a joke

Review from Operations Dept

Cost of living increased a lot these past years. I would love to be able to afford to live not paycheck to paycheck

Review from Operations Dept

I feel that the pay isn't comparable to what we are expected to do. New hires don't make enough hourly to be able to afford to afford housing, food, and utilities, but make just a little too much to qualify for State Aid.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Other offices get paid more than we do because of their location, the job should pay the same no matter where you live because you're doing the same work. Some employees also get to work remote permanently, so they don't have to spend the gas money to come into the office while others don't.

Review from Operations Dept

I know the y men in our department make more money even at start out. I personally have asked multiple times about career progression and have been told it is coming. When someone is eager to grow in the department why would you not want to give them more and train them?

Review from Operations Dept

Experience and Skills I have

Review from Finance Dept

Have more market reviews in general

Review from HR Dept

This position requires so many small components to handle day to day responsibilities that is should start at a rate of $2-3 more/hr.

Review from Operations Dept

A raise would help me feel better about my compensation.

Review from Finance Dept

I'm paid the same or slightly lower as I was working at non-profit. I know that as a for profit corporation GA can/should be able to afford to pay me more than they current are.

Review from Operations Dept

Even though the call center is an entry level job, the amount of knowledge we are expected to have, the number of systems we are forced to use, and the number of elevated calls we are expected to take makes it seem like we should be paid more.

Review from Customer Support Dept

For the level of training and high complex nature of this job vs other customer service jobs I have done in the past the salary should definitely be higher.

Review from Customer Support Dept

I feel valued, but would like to have a higher salary for the number of hours worked.

Review from Operations Dept

Compensation is not competitive with industry competitors.

Review from Marketing Dept

I am contacted by recruiters often and know people in my job role at many other insurers have starting salaries 15-20 thousand more per year plus 10% bonus, 401(k), etc. I stay because of the people and management, but rising costs make that choice more financially challenging each year

Review from Operations Dept

No, I do not feel undervalued.
