We call two LEED Platinum certified buildings home in Chicago, IL and Broomfield, CO, the latter offering charging stations for electric vehicles and high-efficiency solar panels for energy production.

Environmental Sustainability

Our business strategy is preparing for the move toward sustainability-friendly initiatives. By launching Gogo 5G, we’ll provide a more robust experience with smaller equipment that is much more efficient and environmentally friendly. The 5G standalone core in the data center is less than one full rack of servers, compared with six for today’s, and power consumption for 5G is only 20 percent of our legacy equipment.

Community Impact and Philanthropy

Gogo is committed to engaging with our communities as well as enriching the lives of our employees. We host regular volunteer opportunities for employees at local food banks and organizations supporting children, families, and veterans. To encourage giving back through volunteer activities, employees can also use 2 days of Volunteer Time (VTO) per year for a 501(c)(3) non-profit institution of their choice. Through our recognition platform, employees can donate points to local and national charity organizations that matter to them. As a prominent member of our community, we are proud to support organizations focused on STEM education and developing leaders of the future. Gogo is also proud to support AeroAngel on their mission to provide flights on business jets equipped with Gogo IFC to seriously ill children needing life-saving transportation to medical care.
