GR0 Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

GR0's flexible PTO policy is by far the best part of my compensation package! Knowing that they care enough about me as a person to know I have a life outside of work and may need more than a few weeks off each year is what sets them apart from any other company. That's worth more to me than salary.

Review from Operations Dept

Unlimited PTO and Fringe points!

Review from Marketing Dept

That it is competitive with other similar roles in the job market

Review from Marketing Dept

Best part is there is one.

Review from Marketing Dept

Very flexible Paid Time Off

Review from Marketing Dept

It's very competitive base for the role and industry and the bonus package is above and beyond.

Opportunity for commission as well as flexible PTO!

Review from Marketing Dept

commission incentives plus unlimited PTO

Review from Marketing Dept

very generous and promotes motivation

Review from Sales Dept

The weekly Fringe points are fun and useful.

Review from Marketing Dept

Between GR0 and previous employers, the flexible PTO has been a serious game-changer. Beyond that, the company culture is just something money can't buy.

Review from Communications Dept

401k options and fair equity

Review from Sales Dept

unlimited PTO is the best part of the comp package

Review from Sales Dept

Remote work and I love it. Also don't mind frindge

Review from Marketing Dept

I feel that my salary is more than fair, but I am much more devoted to the company for the unlimited PTO policy. I can't express how much calm it brings me to know I won't have to miss a family gathering, work when sick, and that I can take time off when I need a mental break.

Review from Communications Dept

equity compensation and health benefits

Review from Marketing Dept

Stock options and competitive pay

The ability to not have a ceiling

Review from Marketing Dept

Commission + base structure is good.

Review from Sales Dept

The best part about the compensation package is that we are given phantom equity.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Pay is average, but working at an agency is demanding and fast-paced so it can be difficult to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Review from Marketing Dept

I believe it is unclear how compensation actually works.

Review from HR Dept

I don't feel undervalued as a person or in what people expect from me, however I believe the salary is slightly under what it should be for my position.

Review from Marketing Dept

I think GR0 has something of a skew when it comes to where they spend their money. Certain positions, while certainly difficult, are seen as worth much more than others, even if they require similar amounts of time, effort, and skill.

Review from Communications Dept

There is little oversight into the different teams and there aren't opportunities to connect and discuss areas of improvement with upper management. There isn't a clear hierarchy of roles for employees and people aren't able to get properly recognized for their efforts.

Review from Marketing Dept

Others in similar positions to mine make more than me, and I would like to be paid as an equal.

Review from Marketing Dept

I do not feel undervalued. I know the situation.

I feel that as a specialist, we put in a lot of the leg work for the account managers, but don't see a bonus and start with a lower salary. I think pay raises should be every six months as a review in the first year, then yearly after. Offering a bonus per deliverable would be amazing.

Review from Marketing Dept

I feel I offer more value than I'm being paid for. I also feel the benefits package is very lacking and if I didn't have benefits provided by a spouse I would feel very uncomfortable as sufficient coverage would take a huge portion of my pay.

I don't feel undervalued. I know this is a start-up and rewards will come.

The benefits were just not applicable to me because I'm a contractor, and any entry-level salary isn't going to be high enough. That's not on gr0 -- that's a capitalism thing.

Review from Communications Dept

I care a lot about this company and very much enjoy working here. That said, the compensation and benefits don't quite match up to the time and level of effort that I have to put in every single day.
