Review from Legal Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

The diagnostic space has higher compensation plans in general.

Review from Sales Dept

I work 12 hrs a day and produce a high volume for the company but the attainment goals dont reflecf mt efforts nor am I getting paid what I should.

Review from Sales Dept

Based on recent hiring experiences, our salary/bonus/401K match compensation is far below what is currently being offered in the industry. Attracting new talent to 3 open positions on my team took nearly half a year. For 2/3 of those positions, my top choice candidate declined their offer.

Review from Operations Dept

I think for our particular division we don't compete within our industry. I took a significant pay cut to join Grail, previous jun subordinates in my prior team have gone on to local businesses and now earn significantly more than I do. I was willing to compromise because of passion for the mission.

Review from HR Dept

Compensation must be based upon industry averages - very much below benchmarks (confirmed); goals no aligned with life of company

Review from Sales Dept

Because my input is not being considered.

Review from Engineering Dept

Needs to be more competitive

Long term employee and have been loyal. Company should provide fair pay to respect loyalty and ensure they are paying well compared to the competitors

Review from Operations Dept

Need 401K match and better eye insurance

Review from HR Dept

Total benefits are way under par with comparable companies; negotiations are done to save money and not necessarily fair value for the employees.

Review from Engineering Dept

I was brought on low and within a very short period of time have taken on double the load I was told the job would be. I was just told that my workload is going to increase again. I don't GRAIL represents the true workload and culture during the interview process.

Review from HR Dept

Currently there isn't a clear job description or salary range for my role so I would like to see that. There are no clear expectations my role which makes it nearly impossible to come up with 3-5 performance goals that I could actually focus on.

We still do not have mileage compensation figured out - have been driving for work (avg 2000 miles/mo) since April and no compensation yet. Base pay is very fair. Goal expectations are lofty for commercial launch 3 months ago. I believe quarterly bonus structure should be more than 10k @ plan.

Review from Sales Dept

Equitable base; quarterly paid variable; equity; field-based incentives (e.g. car/fair market allowance; fuel card; etc.)

Review from Sales Dept

Compensated more fairly for the work done.

The team I work on has been absent a true team manager for more than half a year. As time moves on, the responsibilities of each individual has grown to fill the void of the manager. We have seen no compensation for it, and though we are looking there seems to be no urgency in filling the position.

Review from Operations Dept

I really don't know how I'm doing. year end 360 feedback is biased, and as a manager I haven't gotten constructive feedback as to how I'm doing. I also don't think that elt realizes how hard we work. in general there's not a focus on the good..if we do 90% of our p0 so what .. it doesn't translate.

The perks before COVID were good but they have diminished since many of them are physical. There isn't anything like 401K matching and a lot of the benefits, it feels like a lot of the "compensation" conversations are pending the acquisition?

Promotions and compensations are not provided regardless of meeting goals and going above and beyond.

Review from Engineering Dept

very little growth in salary, given the inflation
