In the Admin panel, go to Administration and click the Subscription tab

Click cancel your subscription at the bottom of the page

Check the box at the bottom of the page and click Complete cancellation

At the end of your current billing cycle for your subscription, your account will be downgraded to the free version and all future payments will be canceled. None of your data will be lost, and you will maintain access to all of your documents.

The Grammarly add-in for MicrosoftOffice allows you to use Grammarly while youre writing Word documents or Outlook emails.

Before you download and install Grammarly for Microsoft Office, make sure Grammarlysupports your operating system:

Grammarly for Microsoft Office can be used with an Office 365 subscription as long as your plan provides one of the supported Microsoft Office versions.

User Guide: Getting Started

Opening Grammarly.Just click theOpenGrammarlybutton in the Home tab (or use the button in your new Grammarly tab), and the Grammarly sidebar will appear.

Specifying check types.You choose the specific writing issues Grammarly will check.

Once you open Grammarly, you'll be brought to the Grammarly tab to specify which of our seven categories of checks you want to run on your document.

To enable any check type, just click on it. Grammarly alerts will be shown directly inside the sidebar window.

Making corrections.Make text corrections with one simple click on the alert card.

Accept Alert: Click on a suggested correction to apply the change in the text. To revert a recently applied correction, click Undo.

Ignore Alert: Dismiss the alert and remove it from the list of correction cards.

Add to Dictionary: Add a word to your personal dictionary to keep it from triggering future alerts. (Available only on some alert types).

Choosing document types.Choose from over 30 different document types and get the most relevant corrections for your specific writing situation. Note: this feature comes with Grammarly Premium.

Changing default settings.Manage settings directly inside the setting dialog.

Try disabling any other extensions you're using:

Try temporarily disabling all other extensions you're using:

Check that the Grammarly extension is installed and enabled:

Open Safari Preferences by either navigating to Safari > Preferences or pressing Command + Comma (,)

Navigate to the Extension tab.

Find Grammarly for Safari on the list of extensions and verify that the Enable Grammarly for Safari checkbox is checked.

Ensure that Grammarly for Safari is up and running:

Click on the Grammarly for Safari extension icon in the extension bar.

Try disabling all other extensions you're using:

Go toSafari>Preferences(or use Command + Comma).

Select theExtensionstab and untick the boxes next to each extension.

To uninstallthe Grammarly extensionfrom Google Chrome,right-click on the "G" icon on the Chrome toolbar and selectRemove from Chrome.

Navigate toabout:addonsand select the Extensions panel

Select the Grammarly add-on

Click the Remove button.

Click Restart now if it pops up. Your tabs will be saved and restored after the restart.

In order to disable or uninstall Grammarly for Safari, please follow the instructions below:

Open Safari

Click on Safari tab -> Preferences...

Click Extensions

Uncheck the Enabled box to disable the extension

If you'd like to uninstall the extension, go to Finder > Applications > Grammarly for Safari

Click Grammarly for Safari and select Move to Trash from the drop-down menu; alternatively, you can drag and drop the app to Trash

If prompted, enter the password to your computer to confirm the deletion

Note: Before uninstalling the app, please make sure that Grammarly for Safari is not running. If the app is running, right-click the Grammarly icon on the dock and select Quit.

Navigate toyour browser's menu select the Extensions panel

Continuous membership

To ensure uninterrupted service, all subscriptions to Grammarly are renewed automatically using the credit card on file. All of our subscriptions are renewed at the standard subscription rate when the current subscription term ends. You may cancel at any time.

Refunds

Except as described in the Terms of Service and License Agreement, Grammarly Premium subscriptions are non-refundable, and Grammarly will not prorate any Fees paid for a subscription that is terminated before the end of its term.

Payments made in error

If you have been charged by mistake or there has been an error in billing, please submit a support request detailing the issue. A support representative will review your case and assist you with your refund request. If you do not hear back from us within 24 hours, please check your email's spam foldermany email providers block unrecognized email addresses.

Our unique commission structure gives you the chance to earn twice: $0.20 per free (no payment info required!) registration and $20 per Premium upgrade.

Each link on your site has a unique tracking code. When a customer clicks through from your site to Grammarly.com and installs the free Grammarly browser extension or upgrades to Grammarly Premium, we record that conversion and attribute it to your account. You can view your conversions and current earnings at any time in the Reports section.

Grammarlys Affiliate Program offers three payment types check (US Residents only), bank wire, or direct deposit. Please note, non-US payments are available by bank wire only in USD. Please ensure your bank account accepts USD if you are outside the US. Grammarly does not make payments via PayPal.

I don't remember my free account login email

Search every email account you use for the word "Grammarly" to find any emails we've sent you. If you no longer have access to the email address you signed up with and you don't remember your password, you will need to create a new account with your new email address.

Upgraded to Grammarly Premium butcan'tuse any Premium features? Most likely,you'veunintentionally created another account. Don't worry, there's usually a quick fix.

Try logging in with any other email addresses you might have used to create an account.

Search every email account you use for the words Your Grammarly Account Is Now Activated!to find the activation email we sent you. If you have it, that means you have a Premium account associated with that email.

When you enable any third-party keyboard, Android displays a message that says the keyboard may be able to collect the text you type, including personal data like credit card numbers. We know that our users may (understandably) be concerned about this, so we want to provide some more detail about how we protect your privacy.

Android displays this message because it is technically possible for a third-party keyboard to collect sensitive information. However, we have blocked the Grammarly Keyboard from accessing anything you enter in fields marked sensitive. That includes credit card forms and password fields. We have also blocked the keyboard from accessing text you type into search fields, URL fields, or email address fields.

We know that what you write on your phone is private, and we have taken measures to ensure it stays that way. Please see our Privacy Policy in the section How Secure Is My Data? for more information.

Improve your Grammarly experience by adding words to your personal dictionary. The words you add will no longer be flagged as misspellings.

Whenever your word is marked as a mistake, you will see a card with a little book button.Clicking the book will add this word to your dictionary and prevent it from being marked as a mistake in the future.

Additionally, we offer a featurecalled Personal Dictionary, which allows you to manage the words you've added at any time.

To access this feature, sign in to your account,go to the Account section in the Grammarly Editor, and then select Customize.

To remove aword fromyour personal dictionary,please clickAccount>Customize. Then, hover over the word that you wish to remove and click on the trash can icon that will appear next to it.

Words containing symbols other than English language letters cannot be added to your Grammarly dictionary. Multiple words separated by spaces also cannot be added.

What is Human Proofreading?

Human Proofreading is an optional service that is offered in addition to a Grammarly Premium subscription. If you need extra confidence that your text is free of mistakes, send it to our team of experienced proofreaders!

Note: At the moment, Human Proofreading is not available for Grammarly Business and Grammarly EDU users.

Our proofreaders meet our high standards for proofreading excellence as determined by a series of preliminary tests and consistent quality management. They will review and correct your document for mistakes in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure. Please note that proofreading is limited to clear errors; we will not rewrite or reorganize your document to make it more accurate or convincing, and we attempt to keep the original meaning fully intact. Furthermore, we will not assess whether a submission contains any plagiarized content or fact-check your document.

Submitting an order

Current turnaround-time options are as follows: Instant (within 30 minutes), and 24-hour, and 3-day.

If you're not seeing any suggestions from Grammarly ona Windows computer withmultiplemonitorsor with anultra-wide monitor even though potential mistakes werefound in your text, it typically indicates an issue with your primary monitor.

Follow the troubleshooting steps below to resolve the issue.

The plagiarism checker is disabled by default. To enable it, simply open or create a document in the Grammarly editor, go to the left-hand navigation bar, and enable the plagiarism check.

Note: If your Grammarly account is provided by your school and you do not see the plagiarism check among the checking options, it means that your institution has opted out of the plagiarism checker with Grammarly. This may be because your school uses another service for plagiarism checking.

Missing confirmation emails

You should receive a confirmation email from Grammarlyshortly after you update your email address. If youre not getting the email, try the following:

Check your spam or junk folder and any other tabs in your new email account inbox.

Open your Grammarly account settings and check for typos in the new email address. If the address is incorrect, you can change it by following the steps above.

Grammarly is an online application, which means your computer must be connected to the Internet. Grammarly requires a stable Internet connection to analyze your text and provide suggestions.

Note:The Grammarly Editor works most effectively when checking naturally written texts. Grammarly is built to find and correct natural errors because the patterns are based on real writing and real errors.

Some checks in the Grammarly Editor might be disabled. To resolve this, please enable all Grammarly checks (i.e., Contextual Spelling, Grammar, Punctuation, Sentence Structure, Style).

Some grammar checks come only with Grammarly Premium. The free version of Grammarly identifies many basic writing errors. The Premium version includes everything that comes with the free version but also flags many additional advanced errors that are not included in the free version.

If Grammarly is listed as inactive and remains inactive even after you try to activate it, follow the steps below:

Check which version of MS Wordor Outlook you use. What version of Office am I using?

If you use the64-bit versionof Office2016:Make sure you have Word or Outlook version 16.0.4266.1003 or higher by installing Office Updates. If the previous instructions didn't work, there may be a conflict with other add-ins that are being loaded in the Office application. To resolve this, do the following:

Disable all other add-ins except Grammarly.

If the previous steps didn't help, please do the following:

1. See if you have awinword.exe.config(oroutlook.exe.config) file, whichshould be located in the same folder where your Word andOutlook programs are located.

You canfind Word and Outlook in folders like these:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\ andgo tosubfolder (e.g.Office12)

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\ and go tosubfolder (e.g.Office12 or Office15, etc.).

If you cannotfind your Word or Outlook programthere, check theinstructions below to learn how to find Word orOutlook and the files:

1.1. Right-click on the Word icon.

1.2. Select Open file location.

1.3. A new window will appear. If you are seeingthe folder from Step 1.5 below, skip Steps 1.4 and 1.5, and go to Step 2.

1.4. Right-click onWordorOutlook and select Open file location:

2. Rename the filewinword.exe.configtowinword.exe.backup,oroutlook.exe.configtooutlook.exe.backup:

2.1. Right-click onwinword.exeoroutlook.exe. Its file type will be "XML Configuration File".If the file extensions are visible, look for winword.exe.config(oroutlook.exe.config).

2.2. ClickRename.

If the Grammarly tab stilldoesn'tappear and you usethe64-bitversion of Office, we recommendinstalling the 32-bit version of Office:

3. Install Office 32-bit
