    Grammarly for Microsoft Office can be used with an Office 365 subscription as long as your plan provides one of the supported Microsoft Office versions.

    User Guide: Getting Started

    Opening Grammarly.Just click theOpenGrammarlybutton in the Home tab (or use the button in your new Grammarly tab), and the Grammarly sidebar will appear.

    Specifying check types.You choose the specific writing issues Grammarly will check.

    Once you open Grammarly, you'll be brought to the Grammarly tab to specify which of our seven categories of checks you want to run on your document.

    To enable any check type, just click on it. Grammarly alerts will be shown directly inside the sidebar window.

    Making corrections.Make text corrections with one simple click on the alert card.

    Accept Alert: Click on a suggested correction to apply the change in the text. To revert a recently applied correction, click Undo.

    Ignore Alert: Dismiss the alert and remove it from the list of correction cards.

    Add to Dictionary: Add a word to your personal dictionary to keep it from triggering future alerts. (Available only on some alert types).

    Choosing document types.Choose from over 30 different document types and get the most relevant corrections for your specific writing situation. Note: this feature comes with Grammarly Premium.

    To uninstallthe Grammarly extensionfrom Google Chrome,right-click on the "G" icon on the Chrome toolbar and selectRemove from Chrome.

    Click Restart now if it pops up. Your tabs will be saved and restored after the restart.

    In order to disable or uninstall Grammarly for Safari, please follow the instructions below:

    Open Safari

    Click on Safari tab -> Preferences...

    Click Extensions

    Uncheck the Enabled box to disable the extension

    If you'd like to uninstall the extension, go to Finder > Applications > Grammarly for Safari

    Click Grammarly for Safari and select Move to Trash from the drop-down menu; alternatively, you can drag and drop the app to Trash

    If prompted, enter the password to your computer to confirm the deletion

    To ensure uninterrupted service, all subscriptions to Grammarly are renewed automatically using the credit card on file. All of our subscriptions are renewed at the standard subscription rate when the current subscription term ends. You may cancel at any time.

    Refunds

    Except as described in the Terms of Service and License Agreement, Grammarly Premium subscriptions are non-refundable, and Grammarly will not prorate any Fees paid for a subscription that is terminated before the end of its term.

    Payments made in error

    If you have been charged by mistake or there has been an error in billing, please submit a support request detailing the issue. A support representative will review your case and assist you with your refund request. If you do not hear back from us within 24 hours, please check your email's spam foldermany email providers block unrecognized email addresses.

  • When you enable any third-party keyboard, Android displays a message that says the keyboard may be able to collect the text you type, including personal data like credit card numbers. We know that our users may (understandably) be concerned about this, so we want to provide some more detail about how we protect your privacy.

    Android displays this message because it is technically possible for a third-party keyboard to collect sensitive information. However, we have blocked the Grammarly Keyboard from accessing anything you enter in fields marked sensitive. That includes credit card forms and password fields. We have also blocked the keyboard from accessing text you type into search fields, URL fields, or email address fields.

    Whenever your word is marked as a mistake, you will see a card with a little book button.Clicking the book will add this word to your dictionary and prevent it from being marked as a mistake in the future.

    Additionally, we offer a featurecalled Personal Dictionary, which allows you to manage the words you've added at any time.

    To access this feature, sign in to your account,go to the Account section in the Grammarly Editor, and then select Customize.

    To remove aword fromyour personal dictionary,please clickAccount>Customize. Then, hover over the word that you wish to remove and click on the trash can icon that will appear next to it.

    Words containing symbols other than English language letters cannot be added to your Grammarly dictionary. Multiple words separated by spaces also cannot be added.

    Our proofreaders meet our high standards for proofreading excellence as determined by a series of preliminary tests and consistent quality management. They will review and correct your document for mistakes in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure. Please note that proofreading is limited to clear errors; we will not rewrite or reorganize your document to make it more accurate or convincing, and we attempt to keep the original meaning fully intact. Furthermore, we will not assess whether a submission contains any plagiarized content or fact-check your document.

    Submitting an order

    Current turnaround-time options are as follows: Instant (within 30 minutes), and 24-hour, and 3-day.

    To provide the best service possible, we may adjust our prices to find the optimum balance between cost, quality, and efficiency. Of course, you will see the per-word and total price for each job before you submit any order.

    Missing confirmation emails

    Check your spam or junk folder and any other tabs in your new email account inbox.

    Open your Grammarly account settings and check for typos in the new email address. If the address is incorrect, you can change it by following the steps above.
