Review from HR Dept
How much the company cares about the culture and stands up the individuals doing the work. There is lots of acknowledgement for the staff and opportunities to celebrate one another.
Great people work at Groq.
Review from Engineering Dept
openness: information flows laterally and vertically.
Review from Engineering Dept
The attitude! When I started at Groq, many people went out of their way to introduce themselves to me and set up coffee chats with me to get to know me. I've never seen that at a company before but I thought it was so special and welcoming. A great first impression for sure.
Open dialogue with the manager
Groq's is a culture of innovation and the disproportionate power of great ideas.
Review from Executive Dept
All my team members are very easy to approach and discuss anything form trivial issues to complicated innovative approaches without the fear of being judged.
Review from Engineering Dept
growth mindset, willingness to accept where we can improve, openness to hear employee concerns and thoughts/ideas.
Review from Engineering Dept
More transparency, encourage enthusiasm and curiosity. Hire smart people and support their initiatives.
Review from Engineering Dept
Let the engineering decisions be driven by engineers and with clear and able ownership. To make a single change, we have to convince 30 different people. We lack agility while competing with companies known for speed of light execution.
Review from Engineering Dept
1) There are argumentative people who don't have any contributions other than to criticize others' contributions - need to fix that 2) Improve accountability 3) There are teams with unclear purpose. (eg G2, CTA, etc) - need to hold them accountable. Stop hiring people who seem cool but have no role
Review from Executive Dept
Being more focused on 2-3 goals which everyone can align to as a company; not 16+. Pivoting from being internally focused (Clan oriented; decision by committee) to externally focused (market driven; customer oriented).
Review from Engineering Dept
There's no incentive to do the boring-but-valuable engineering work. I noticed no one seemed to care about it, and my feedback improved when I stopped doing it because it's easy to get stuff done when you don't care about tech debt.
Review from Engineering Dept
I do not see any focus or momentum towards a goal. CEO and leadership is clueless on how to get to revenue. All business hypothesis is very surface level and not detail oriented. The leadership lacks experience in AI/ML space and that shows in the decision making.
