- What does the leadership team need to get better at?Listen to your people and let them do the job they were hired to do without you getting involved
- What's going wrong and how can it be improved?Too much micro-management. Also reqs tend to sit open for far too long as management seeks the “perfect” candidate instead of the candidate who might be missing a few skills but can do the role; this leads to higher workloads and projects that are behind schedule
- What would you improve about your company's interview process?The interview process wasn’t overly difficult but management seeks the candidate that checks every box on their wishlist, not just a majority. The hardest part about interviewing is mgmt is a bit intrusive with unscheduled calls and demands to talk or timelines. Interview process is also very long.
