Joia Johnson — Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Hanesbrands

Ms. Joia M. Johnson has been the Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel and Company Secretary at Hanesbrands Inc. since January 29, 2007 and serves as its Chief Administrative Officer since October 2016. Ms. Johnson also serves as the President at Maidenform (Bangladesh) LLC and Elizabeth Needlecraft LLC. She serves as the President at Maidenform (Indonesia) LLC. She has more than 20 years of legal and business experience, including creation and development of corporate law departments and management oversight of real estate, construction, risk management and human resources. From January 1989 to May 1999, she served as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of H.J. Russell & Company, where she held that position from January 1989 to May 1999. She has been the Chairperson of Board of Directors at American Arbitration Association since 2010. She has been an Independent Director of Crawford & Company since February 1, 2011. She serves as a Director at H.J. Russell & Company and Concessions International. She served as a Director at National Service Industries, Inc. since December 1, 2001. She serves as Board of Governors at Center for Ethics and Corporate Responsibility. She has received a number of leadership and legal industry awards during her career. Ms. Johnson earned Law Degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law, Master of Business Administration degree from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and Bachelor's degree from the Duke University.
