Executive Bio

Mr. Gerard K. Meuchner has been Chief Global Communications Officer and Vice President of Henry Schein, Inc. since February 8, 2012. Mr. Meuchner is responsible for advancing Henry Schein's Corporate Brand Management, including overall corporate wide brand strategy management and cross-business brand alignment, and also for the coordination of communications functions that promote Henry Schein's brand globally among each of the Company's five key constituencies. Mr. Meuchner served as the Vice President and Director of Communications and Public Affairs at Eastman Kodak Co. since January 1, 2006. He has worldwide responsibility for internal and external communications, government affairs and executive speechwriting. He joined Kodak in June 2000 as Vice President for Corporate Media Relations, with responsibilities for media relations policies and counseling senior management on news media issues. Prior to Kodak, he spent 10 years with Bloomberg News, where he was a Founding Member of its financial news service from 1995 until 2000. He briefly led the news organizations training efforts before joining Kodak. Prior to Bloomberg, he served as a reporter for Thompson Financial Networks, covering the U.S. bond markets, and as a reporter and editor for the newsletter division of magazine, where he covered the bond markets and commercial banking. He served as Director of Eastman Kodak Co. since June 2000. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from St. Bonaventure University in 1984.
