What do you like best about the leadership team?
The respect and cooperation in order to achieve our goals
They are so supportive and they gave us the examplarity to follow
Sociable. Polite. Effective. Competent. Assertive.

Leading a large number of people is impressive.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Stop engaging in wage theft. Hiring competent workers and not just relatives. Utilize already existing resources to improve the work environment.
Taking on advice and repairing equipment and plants
Treating staff with respect and not abuse or intimidate staff
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The wages which are negotiated via collective bargaining.
Good insurance and it doesn't cost much
Clothing stipend, Housing subsidy, own office, Additional vacation days, Company Share.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
To be paid at market value.
Shown to be a valued member of staff, stop the intimidation and bullying just because managers know nothing will be done to stop it
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team has really strong bonds and our main characteristics are accountability and credibility. For the last 10 years this team despite the problems that will might face always gives 1000% in order the groups targets to be achieved
Interaction and respect for each others knowledge
The energy is great. The people laugh a lot and are friendly

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Skills would be nice. Better hygiene and critical thinking skills would help workplace camaraderie.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The culture is very spiritual
Lots of human resources and long standing employees

A positive workplace culture improves teamwork, raises the morale, increases productivity and efficiency, and enhances retention of the workforce. Job satisfaction, collaboration, and work performance are all enhanced. And, most importantly, a positive workplace.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
more sun and fresh air
Management could stop gas lighting. Utilize the resources that already exist to improve the work environment. Teach critical thinking skills especially with social media. Incorporate more diversity to dilute the "Deliverance" or hillbilly mentality.
Management's attitude towards staff, management need to step outside their bubble and stop managing up, this is why there's a massive turnover of staff, it's not Holcim it's the managers

Was more about personality than anything

Use people with some experience and actual knowledge about the job to be part of the interview process.they hire some of the laziest people I never realised existed.
Talk to people, they are nervous enough

doing a good job and working hard and getting along with co workers

Liking and enjoying my coworkers are hallmarks of a positive and happy work experience. My network provides support, resources, sharing, and caring.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Mellennials in call centers and customer service rolls being extremely rude to customers so customers are walking away
